If you’re worried about the Corona Virus, the direct or indirect effects it’s having there is hope. God would like to comfort you. How? The Bible teaches He gives us peace which surpasses all understanding. Who is “us”? Those who believe in his son Jesus. How so? The bible teaches that God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever would believe in him will not perish but have everlasting life.
What is everlasting life?
Everlasting life is life that keeps on going and going forever. Ever heard of happily ever after? With God, there will be a happily ever after because God exists. If he didn’t exist we wouldn’t exist, the bible teaches we were created in his image. We were separated from God because of the first Adam, when Jesus came he became the sole way back to God.
Why are you not worried?
The bible teaches us not to worry about our life, what we eat or drink, or what we wear. We’re taught to look at the birds of the air. Why? Because they do not reap or sow or store away in barns and yet our heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more important than them?
I am encouraged because the creator tells me not to worry so I will continue to work on not worrying, no matter my/our current circumstances.
What is repenting?
The bible calls for us to repent of our sins. What’s that? Things that aren’t holy according to God’s standard. How do we learn what his standard is? You can find it in the bible. We are all born sinners because of our ancestors Adam and Eve. Sure you may not have killed someone or you helped the poor and needy but we all inherited our ancestor’s sinful nature. Because of it, we cannot stand before God who is holy. Because of Jesus and faith in him, we become righteous through faith in him in God’s eyes. That’s all that matters.
Do I have Free will
God gives all of mankind free will to believe what we will. That means if people want to believe in something other than God they exercise that right. What happens when Jesus comes back? #revelations
Is this the end of the world?
I can’t say but reading and watching the news you can kinda get the impression that it is. Think about movies like outbreak(clean version) and armageddon, it gets no realer than this. In all, though I don’t think we’re at the end just yet I encourage you to get ready. Receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, repent of your sins (turn away from them), and don’t give up the faith. If you know Jesus share the well message of him.
Are you talking about religion?
Nope, I am not talking about religion. Just as you have a relationship with your best friend, relative, or colleague you can have a personal relationship with God through Jesus. #real
Why the sole emphasis on Jesus?
Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life, no man can come to the Father except through me.” If he, the son of man said it there is no other way. The bible teaches he is coming back soon and if it is in our time we will witness first hand a global event like never before.
I don’t want to die
Death is inevitable but you will live again, I am confident of it because the bible teaches so. Everyone great and small will rise again to face judgment. What would life be worth if we’re born, we live, and then died and that’s it? There is more to life than these short 80 years give or take on earth. Do research on the tree of life.
How do you know that?
I am sure of what I hope for and certain of what I do not see. It’s the same faith you use to root for your favorite sports team or the faith you activate to go to college or work a job believing you’ll be paid for your work. I know by faith and specifically faith in Jesus.
I want to go to heaven, what must I do?
Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart Jesus is the son of God and was raised from the dead. Repent of your sins and endure to the end. Study the bible and of your own free will do what it says. Get baptized and get ready for the fireworks. If you have any further questions I’d be more than happy to help out.
If I don’t want to go to heaven what are my options?
God is coming back to take possession of his earth, he created it. Remember on our own we can’t stand before God because He is holy and we are not. If we place our faith in Jesus because of that sheer act alone we are righteous in God’s sight. The bible teaches for it is by grace that you are saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God not of works lest we boast. If we try to do good of our own accord thinking we can earn or pay our way into heaven and the new earth we’re mistaken. There is a place called Gehenna and the bible teaches everyone else will be placed there. I look forward to seeing you in the new heaven and earth.
