These are my thoughts on Easter. Today is a special day for the entire world. It is the day many celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. He is God’s only son. His rising from the dead is of great importance because it has a direct impact on humanity.  Before Jesus, we were unholy and separated from God who is holy. We learn in the bible we were created in his image so he is our creator. Because of Adam and Eve’s decision, we were separated from God. Because of Jesus’ decision we all now have an opportunity to have a personal relationship with God through faith in Jesus. Though the Jews are God’s selected people salvation has been made available to the entire world because of Jesus. This is awesome!!

What does this mean?

God loves the world, all of it. He gives all people the opportunity to become his sons and daughters through faith in Jesus.

We can pray to the Lord and he will hear our prayers. We can go into our closet (alone space) and pray to the Lord. We have the holy spirit who prays for us when we don’t know what to pray for.

Jesus intercedes for us against our adversary Satan. We as people do wrong, it’s in our DNA to do wrong but because of Jesus’ blood, our sins are atoned for. #thankful

One day soon we get to spend eternity with our heavenly Father. In time people come and people go, in eternity we live forever. Where we live forever is a personal decision we all make.

How to begin a relationship with God: Pray to the Lord like so:  “Lord, please forgive me a sinner. I come to your throne in your living son Jesus’ name asking for the forgiveness of my sins. I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that Jesus is your son, he died on the cross for my sins and was raised to life thus ensuring my salvation. He is my Lord, I acknowledge you as creator and Jesus as your living son. Please lead my life and show me how to be what you’ve called me to be, a son/daughter of you through Jesus. Amen.

The next step is to get baptized in the Lord and begin the life long journey of discipleship. If you need someone to help you with this process, please reach out. Life’s true purpose has just begun.

Jesus has called us once we’ve embraced the good news to share it. Share it with your friends, family, colleagues, share it with the world.
