As so much is happening in the U.S. and around the world with the CoronaVirus I trust God. I trust because earth is his creation, we are his creation. If you were in trouble the natural thing to do is call out to someone for help. In this case, the smart thing for people to do is call out to him for help. I see that is a hard thing to do when people don’t believe in Him and choose to try to live life as though He doesn’t exist. That kind of life happens because of free will, something He gives us all the chance to experience.

I chose to believe in Jesus because I understand He is the only way to God, he is the son of God (Son of man). It is written, “I am the way and the truth and the life, no man can come to the Father except through me.” My understanding of Jesus’ statement is that there is no other way to God but by Jesus. I am thankful that Jesus gave his life for mankind, because of his selfless act all of humanity has the option to believe in Jesus and gain eternal access to God. This statement is a faith statement, I am sure of what I hope for and certain of what I do not see.

When we go to work we exercise our faith, when we go to college we exercise our faith. When we make life decisions that don’t have an instant outcome we exercise our faith. There are many life scenarios where we exercise our faith and believing in Jesus is of the same accord. Life is really short when you think about it, one moment you’re a kid growing up and the next you’re sixty years old nearing retirement.

God is sovereign over all things including the CoronaVirus. It is my prayer that everyone would place their faith in Jesus and that the entire world will be saved. We’ll get through the CoronaVirus Lord willing. All I can do in the meantime is work to love my neighbor as myself, play my part in staying safe, and work. I am praying we make it through this.
