Are you in need of peace right now to deal with Covid-19? Here is a solution…pray to God for peace. This effort will take using the same faith you use to go to work, school, and doing things believing something would happen before they do. This action-based activity is called faith. We utilize it believing in our favorite sports team, sports player, and leaders. During this challenging time, I need you to focus that same faith on God. Will you do that for yourself?

Civilizations developed because of the actions of people with faith. Before they were physically built visionaries envisioned what could be then took leaps of faith to realize it. Ever wonder how the earth and the universe work so perfectly?

People operate through free will, the decision to do/believe something or not. In certain circumstances, free will is or can be lost or limited. Marshall Law, slavery, and dictatorships are some examples of instances where free will is limited.

As we wrestle to gain control over Covid-19 the mental and physical toll is heart-wrenching. When you look at most news platforms and they’re all saying the same thing, we’re experiencing a global pandemic and people are dying.

Here is the solution for peace, it is written:

“Do not worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God,

and the peace of God, that is superior to every frame of mind, shall be garrisoning your hearts and your apprehensions in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6

This scripture applies to all who believe in Jesus Christ. He teaches “I am the way and the truth and the life, no man can come to the Father except through me.” as taught in John 14:6. Does this mean I can not talk to God except through Jesus?

Yes.

The bible teaches us God is holy and we (humanity) are unholy. In spite of that fact, God sent his son out of love for us to give all of humanity the opportunity to have a personal relationship with him. Because of faith in Jesus, we are then viewed as righteous in God’s sight and we can pray to him and have our prayers heard and answered according to his will. For some, this can be tough but in free will, we each decide if we want to believe, aka exercise our faith. I speak not of religion, I speak of relationship.

I have found peace in God through Jesus. I am a sinner and have to deal with this human nature that naturally wants to do wrong on a daily basis. I am called to practice restraint, we are called to practice restraint. I continue to live through God’s grace until it is my time to go home. In the meantime, I am garrisoned in God my fortress. #mypeace

I am thankful for Jesus.

Be sure to social distance, wash your hands, wear a mask, and do the other recommended things the professionals are telling us to do to fight Covid-19.
